I bought this hoop because I wanted a shot off the board to be as close to the real gym feel as we can get. I also wanted to be confident that when the kids dropped it down to dunk that I would not have to worry about it hurting anyone. I can say that this met or exceeded both of my expectations. It is definitely HEAVY but I like that. An intentional hard shot off the board doesn't move this thing it sounds like the ball hit a brick wall. Overall I am impressed and happy with our purchase.

I love our megaslam hoop. I chose Megaslam over the comp because of the sturdy design and materials used, the backing of the product and the fact that it goes lower than other hoops out there. I’ve got 4 kids from ages 4-8, so I wanted something that would go low enough for my 4yo’s to play on and be sturdy enough for me to jam on. This hoops provides all of that. Very happy with my choice.

This goal has been amazing! Installation was straight forward and the online videos helped with any questions i may have had. I used 4 people as it recommended for the goal, while cranked down to the lowest position and we got the backboard on very quickly. They system has worked perfectly. Cranks up and down easily enough that my 9 year old can drop it to 9' for his shooting practice. I crank it back up to 10' for my shooting and playing horse/pig with my boys. I am 6'7" and a bit out of shape, so can no longer dunk at 10' but I can at 9'6". Throwing down some two hand dunks and catching my weight on the hoop feels incredible. Goal absorbs my weight and doesn't seem to care. Backboard is nice and solid and doesnt wobble when shooting on it. I did upgrade to the pro rim and it definitely gives in a good way when dunking on it from the side. I also like the hidden netting system that keeps my fingers safe when dunking. Overall I have been very pleased with the system and it performance. The added padding around the goal fittings and post are a nice extra that really add to its overall solid value.
